Description
Anderson Union High School's annual Old West Dinner Show production of "The Paper Bag Bandit Rides Again or … Behind The Cheap Mask” a melodrama by Robert Swift in cooperation with Pioneer Drama Services, Inc. will be held May 6th, 7th, and 8th. Seating begins at 6:00 each night. This will be our 6th year in a row presenting the Old West Dinner Show. The kids love doing these melodramas as they get to add lots of slapstick comedy to the show. The show becomes their own as they rehearse. Lines are added, jokes are added, scenes are blocked and modified. It's just a lot of fun!
During the show dinner is served to the guests. We do a full course tri-tip dinner. The atomosphere is casual/western. During show breaks guests participate in the evening by sending patrons to jail and telling some of their own jokes! We have dancers and singers to keep the night moving along. It's non-stop action and fun!
We also hold a raffle and have an old fashion company store. The proceeds from the raffle and store go directly to a scholarship fund for the seniors that have participated in the Old West production all 4 years of school.

How cool! Anderson's version of Club Cougar.
I hope there's more info and news coverage for this.
I'll have to attend since these kids undoubtedly worked their tails off for this. See you there!
