&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt; Bike Rides of 100 miles, 60 miles, 40 miles and 25 miles. Refreshments at rest stops and a meal at the end of the ride.&lt;br /&gt;The routes are constantly monitored. &lt;br /&gt;Bike 100 miles along Sacramento River and surrounding foothills. Includes gradual climbs with views of meadows, wildflowers, rock walls, old time cattle ranches, and views of Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen. Additional rides of 60, 40 and 25 miles. Hosted by the Anderson Lions Club and the Enterprise Lions Club &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt; On Saturday, May 19, there will be a Mush Ball Tournament and movie night at the Happy Valley Elementary school to help raise money for the athletic program, as well as a new track and field.&lt;br /&gt;The entry fee for the Mush Ball Tournament is $100 and the first game starts at 8 a.m. Tournament organizers will be taking the first seven teams to pay to their entry fee. Each team is guaranteed three games limited to one hour or seven innings, which ever comes first. It will be a round robin format with a set schedule. &lt;br /&gt;Each team must have two women on the field at all times and players must be 16 or older to play. There will be two pitchers per batter using a 12-inch mush ball. There will also be a home run derby.&lt;br /&gt;A full snack bar will be provided by Jim Paul and crew and will include hamburgers and hotdogs.&lt;br /&gt;For more information or to secure a spot in the tournament call Karri Westaby at 357-2111 or Joey Weekly at 357-3755.&lt;br /&gt;Later on in the evening the movie ‘Sand Lot’ will be shown at dark, approximately 8 p.m.&lt;br /&gt;A Mexican dinner option at the snack bar will be available, along with other food items.&lt;br /&gt;Bring your favorite lawn chair or blankets for seating.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt; The 8th annual Anderson Century Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, May 19 and riders can register online at andersoncentury.com. Riders are encouraged to register early as fees will increase for those registering after May 11.&lt;br /&gt;The Anderson Century Bike ride has riders from the local area and throughout California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington. Riders enjoy the 25, 40, 60 or 100 – mile rides, starting and finishing at Anderson River Park. Longer routes climb through the foothills of southeastern Shasta County.&lt;br /&gt;Area Lions Clubs provide service for the riders including rest stops with snacks, drinks and lunch. &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt; The Anderson Teen Center will be holding their 2nd annual golf tournament at River Tasalmi Golf Course in Redding on Monday, June 11.&lt;br /&gt;Tournament promoters are currently looking for people to sponsor the event, as well as golfers.&lt;br /&gt;Player registration is $50 and includes lunch and a hospitality bag.&lt;br /&gt;There are also eight different sponsorship opportunities, including sponsoring a youth to play in the event.&lt;br /&gt;The proceeds from the event will benefit over 200 youth by providing them with a safe, positive place to go after school and in the evenings.&lt;br /&gt;In addition to players and sponsorships, event planners are also looking for items to give away during drawings, gift certificates or baskets.&lt;br /&gt;To register or for more information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Cody at Anderson Partnership for Healthy Children at 378-6060 or by email cody@ap4hc.org.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
