Nicole Bosaneu Guibergia moved from Chico to Shasta County four years ago to follow a job opportunity at Tri Counties Bank in Cottonwood. Guibergia has been with the company for 12 years and is the Assistant Manager of Operations and Sales. She helps the branch manager oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank.
“To be in the banking business, you have to enjoy working with the public and be detail oriented and look at what the best banking choice is for them,” said Guibergia.
Guibergia is also the Cottonwood Rodeo Parade coordinator and is in her fourth year of holding this position. When she moved to Cottonwood, one of her co-workers talked her into taking the position and she has been enjoying working on the parade ever since.
Guibergia is a 1990 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Chico. After high school, she attended Butte College earning her Associate of Arts degree in Social Science and Early Childhood Education. While in school, Guibergia spent nine years in the Shasta 4-H group raising swine for her fair projects.
Guibergia likes to spend time with her 2-year-old son, Ty, and work in her garden. Guibergia has been married to husband Clint, for eight years.
“Being a mom is very rewarding for me and I love to spend time with my family,” said Guibergia.
Guibergia also enjoys water skiing, riding motorcycles and being involved with volunteering and staying active in the community.
Guibergia’s philosophy in life is to “live each day to the fullest and make each day count. There isn’t enough time to stress over things that you can’t control.”
