Asked at Anderson River Park by Tracye Dethero, Guest Writer
David Ransom, Anderson — “I think it is a great program. I think people need to be prosecuted for illegal dumping. I also feel that we need to have more free dump days to get rid of larger items.”
Dana Hollmer, Red Bluff — “I like it because if you don’t have consequences for bad decisions, people will never change.”
Will Williams, Lake California — “It is a long time in coming. We shouldn’t have to pay for it. People should take their trash to the dump.”
Andy Ward, Dairyville — “It is a good idea. They should also put offenders on trash detail for a few days and have them pick up trash from other people. A large anonymous reward should be put up for being able to prosecute the offenders.”
Sarah Moebes, Cottonwood — “I think it is great.
It is a bummer to see trash along deserted roads.”
Julie Waterman, Cottonwood — “I haven’t heard
about it, but it is a good idea. Dumping trash is pretty
gross.”
