How do you feel about the North Fork Development in Happy Valley?
Asked in Happy Valley by Tracye Dethero, Guest Writer
Lana Mannion, Happy Valley — “I am worried about it because of the water situation. I also don’t want to see the city lights. Change is inevitable.”
Sharon Chambers, Anderson — “It will bring a better element to the area. I like the idea of having the equestrian trails.”
Doug Evans, Happy Valley — “I think that it is good and that they are giving the community some input on the project. They are also changing things so that the community has some things that they want.”
Bryn Evans, Happy Valley — “I am in favor of it, I like planned development.”
Bud Owen, Happy Valley — “I think it is poor that people need to come here and build a subdivision. It takes away my right and my neighbor’s right to live a quiet life. I homesteaded this land 35 years ago. How can they say they are taking it? It is wrong!”
Joan Abbey, Port Orford, Ore. — “I like coming out to Happy Valley to visit my daughter and would hate to see the beautiful country atmosphere ruined. It is peaceful here.”
