Laura Hiek

Laura Ellen Hiek, 70, of Anderson died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Redding Care Center.

No services will be held.

Mrs. Hiek was born Aug. 4, 1936, in Chicago and moved to Shasta County in 1966.

She was a millworker at Champion International in Anderson and a member of the American Kennel Club.

Survivors include daughters Virginia Vaughn of Minot, N.D., Sandra Otterback of McKinleyville, Katrina Ericson of Redding, and Rose and Katherine, both of Sacramento; sister Shirley Vega of Los Osos; and numerous grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

Cynthia Rzepecki

A celebration of life for Cynthia Rzepecki, 50, of Cottonwood will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 10, 2007, at the Tehama County Department of Education, at 1135 Lincoln St. in Red Bluff.

Mrs. Rzepecki died Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding following a long illness.

She was born June 19, 1956, in Red Bluff and returned to Tehama County in 1980 from Ontario.

She worked for the county Department of Education in Red Bluff.

Survivors include husband Wayne; son Joshua Campos of Chico; daughters Mandi Campos of Redding, and Megan and Molly, both of Cottonwood; brothers James Chastain of Norco, Perry Chastain of Crestline and Randy Chastain of Ontario; and mother Melva Chastain of Ontario.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Molly and Mea gan Rzepecki Trust Fund, Attn: Mandi Campos at any branch of Members 1st Credit Union.

Barbara Miller

A memorial service for Barbara Ellen Miller, 75, of Anderson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Lakeport.

Mrs. Miller died Wednesday, Jan. 24, at home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Visalia and moved to Shasta County in 2003.

She was a retail manager and a member of the Eastern Star and the Travel and Trellis Garden Club in Lakeport.

Survivors include son Michael of El Cerrito; daughters Glenda Galletti of Anderson, Kathy Mumper of Clearlake Oaks and Janice Paul of Grants Pass, Ore.; brothers Richard of Citrus Heights and Orval of Meeker, Okla.; sister Betty Loyd of Redding and Luella Luowther of Klamath Falls, Ore.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

Frederick “Jerry” Frink

Frederick “Jerry” Frink, 73, of Cottonwood died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at home.

Be was born Feb. 27, 1924 in Lupton, Colo.

Mr. Frink worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife Fern; daughters Janice Dalton of San Ramon, Barbara Cucchi of Yuba City, Kathryn Hawkins and Sharon Frink, both of Anderson; sons James of Fairfield and Donald of Sheridan, Wyo.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of McDonald’s Chapel in Redding.

Rosemary Luckenbaugh

Graveside services for Rosemary Luckenbaugh, 82, of Cottonwood, were held Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond.

Mrs. Luckenbaugh died Thursday, Jan. 25, at home.

She was born June 4, 1924, in Oklahoma.

She worked in Richmond in the shipyards in the 1940s.

Survivors include her husband Charles; daughter Mary Ann Sherwood of Cottonwood; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson & Kratzer in San Pablo.

Sharilyn Francis (Lerch) Cox

Services for Sharilyn Francis Cox, 65, of Anderson were held Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.

Viewing services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Oakhill Memorial Park in San Jose.

Mrs. Cox died Thursday, Feb. 1, at home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1941, in San Jose.

Survivors include husband Daniel; daughters Teraysa and Lynn; brothers Gary and Kelvin; sister Bonnie; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.
