J. Scott, Shasta County treasurer-tax collector, has announced that the remaining one-half of the taxes on all real property and personal property secured by real property, were due on Feb. 1 and will be delinquent on April 10 at 5 p.m.
If the due date lands on a weekend, payment will be accepted on the next business day.
If tax bills are not paid by April 10, there will be a 10 percent penalty and an additional $10 cost added to each tax bill. Payments can be made online at http://www.co.shasta.ca.us/department/ttcusing “Virtual Check.”
