Proposal made for canal walking trail
The Anderson-Cottonwood Irrigation District Board of Directors were presented with a concept of turning the main canal bank into a walking trail. Civil Engineer Duane Miller appeared before the board saying a group had approached him about turning the main canal to tie into a path interconnected with the River Trail.

Cascade Trustees Vote Cottonwood Annexation
Cascade Union Elementary School Board voted unanimously to confirm annexation of 14 parcels of property on Lone Tree Road. They approved notification to the County Committee on district reorganization. The residents of the strip of land, between Balls Ferry and the river, petitioned the district for transfer.

Property Owners Lay Pipe Line For Irrigation
Fourteen property owners in West Anderson have gone together in the laying of a pipe line from the main irrigation canal down North street to Douglas. At the take-out the pipe will be ten inches in diameter and will be graduated to five inches at the farthest end. There will be more than 2000 feet of pipe in the main.
