COP STOP: Thirty two Municipal Motorcycle Officers of California and their riders stopped overnight at the Knights Inn in Anderson last week. The group, some active police officers and some retired, was on their 14th annual motorcycle ride. They left Anderson, heading to Lassen over state route 89 to Mt. Shasta, up Interstate-5 and eventually to Medford, Ore.

The Power Is Yours Poster Contest — June 27-July 27, Tues.-Fri., 9 a.m.–5 p.m., at Old City Hall Arts Center, 1313 Market St., Redding. The poster contest is a bi-annual juried poster exhibition open to artists with developmental disabilities 18 years and older.
