Dear Strangers (every one of you):

The Community of Anderson would like to thank you very much for what you did for us on Wednesday, June 13, the opening night of our Mosquito Serenade Community Concert Series.

In the 26 years of concerts, we have experienced many surprises and challenges, from sprinklers coming on to having no power, to the big surprise of the artist canceling the day of their appearance.

When our blues artist canceled this season’s opening night, our community and music series experienced the biggest surprise ever.

Mr. Merle Haggard’s band, The Strangers, stepped up and stepped in to provide one of the most memorable nights of the concert’s history.

We are very appreciative for what you did and the support and importance you have shown for our small community and the best free outdoor music venue north of Sacramento.

Once again, thank you for your very generous appearance and especially the beautiful night of music!

Sincerely,

Ken Hartman
