Baseball picks up pace

WATCHING A LOW ONE GO BY - Cody McCary, who went 3-for-3 against Trinity last Friday, had two home runs and 3 RBIs. Anderson took Trinity 23-5 as Mario Trotter pitched the win. Trotter also had a home run.

Anderson took Trinity 23-5 last Friday as Cody McCary went 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs. Kody Kraft went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and Johnny Greene went 3-for-4. Justin Evens went 2-for-3 as Mario Trotter pitched the win. He also had a home run for Anderson.

In the Las Plumas/Oroville tournament, West Valley, coming from behind, took Chico 6-5. Roy Button hit in two and Al Doiron, hit a single to drive in the winning run. Brody Bowman picked up the win for West Valley. It was West Valley 10 and Gridley 4 as Mason Emerson picked up the win for the Eagles. Luke Westaby, Troy Duenas and Derek Emmen all went 2-for-4 for West Valley.

Anderson beat Mount Shasta16-4 as Cody McCary pitched three innings for the win, and went 2-for-3 with a home run.
