Wal-Mart donated $4,750 to groups.

Store Manager of the Anderson Wal-Mart Tim Trimble donated $4,750 to South County groups on Friday, May 25. Pictured in front row from left: Ethel Hicks and Suzanne Sargent of Cottonwood Library received $1,000 towards the Latino Family Literacy Project; and Debbie Passmore of Anderson Union High School Sober Grad received $1,000 towards gifts and food. Back row from left: Lou Ann Sandoval of Friends of the Anderson Library received $2,500 to continue the library’s extra hours of operation; Tim Trimble of Wal-Mart received a plaque of appreciation from the Lion’s Club for supporting their organization; and Alan Piombo and Edith Dill of the Cottonwood Lion’s Club received $250 towards the club’s building improvement fund.
