Mariah Fischer, a junior at West Valley High School, was recently selected as Student of the Month. She is the junior class Secretary, and has worked very hard securing a location for this year’s prom.

Her involvement in Future Farmers of America (FFA) does not harm her 4.20 grade point average. She is also taking two classes at Shasta College.
