The third and final leg of the Anderson Parks and Recreation’s North State Skate Series took place in Anderson Saturday night. Previous skateboard matches were held in the Redding Skate Park in Caldwell Park in Redding on Sept. 8 and at the Red Bluff Skate Park on Sept. 29. After this final event the three scores were tallied to provide the overall winners for the 2007 season.

Overall Results

The three skate totals in the Slalom saw Alex Shannon in first, followed by Brian Harris and then Ty Parks. In the 9 and Under competition Justin Youngman tallied a first place followed by Jimmy Bigger and then James Bannister. In the 10-14 age group Scott Steward came in first followed by Marcus Brooks and then Jerod Sanders. In the 15-17 age group Alex Shannon came in first followed by Anthony Novach and then James Helser. The 18-29 year olds had Matthew Hann at number one followed by Louis Castorena and then Will Grigsby. In the 30 and Over category Bob Buckalew tallied a first place followed by Jeff Carey and then Brian Harris.

The Anderson Results

In the Slalom on Saturday, Kyle Haggerty came in first followed by Alex Shannon and then Anthony Novach. In the 9 and under category Eric Craighead was first, Dylan Hebert second and Sophie Loehde third. The 10-14 age group had as number one Scott Stewart. Zack Wiegand came in second and Cody Aikin was in third place. The 15-17 year group saw Alex Shannon lead the pack with Anthony Novach second and James Helser third. In the 18-29 year age group James Bagwell was first, Matthew Hann second and Ben Arnold third. The 30 and over age group had Bob Buckalew first with Ty Parks second and Tim Cass third.
