PICKING OFF THE PASS: On the first play of the PeeWee game between Anderson and Wheatland, Alex Henderson intercepted and ran the ball back for a touchdown.

The Anderson Wildcats traveled this past weekend to Wheatland for the first Midget playoff game in four years.

The Wildcat defense was ready for Wheatland with the coaching of Shannon Nunnelley and Denny Brugman.

The score was 8-6 in favor of the Wildcats at half time and “then the flags started to fly,” said Wildcat coordinator Dave Henderson.

The score ended 14-8 for Wheatland and the Wildcat president calling the commissioner about several issues in the game

“It was a rough way to end a great season,” said Henderson.
