With the renovation of the Anderson High stadium, aka known as Bob Reid stadium, the lack of practice facilities and a relatively small turnout did not deter the Anderson Cubs spirit. Coach Faren Reid, daughter of Anderson coaching legend Bob Reid, had nine first places, six second places and two third place finishes.
The final scores had Yreka on top with 311 points, Lassen next with 207 and Anderson with 78, but it did not deter the "Cubs spirit."
