Hoping to spark interest in home-grown fruits, vegetables and herbs, the Happy Valley Farm Trail is offering a free, family-fun Bingo Run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.
Participants can pick up their free Bingo Run cards and Happy Valley Farm Trail maps at various locations beginning Monday, Aug. 25, Farm Trail spokesperson Johanna Trenerry said. Rules are printed on the back of each card. Only one card will be allowed per family.
“We want people to visit the farms and businesses in beautiful Happy Valley,” Trenerry said.
Prizes, including a grand prize of a one-night’s stay at Lavender Dreams, a bed and breakfast located in Happy Valley itself.
Bingo Run cards are available at the Valley Post and Curves in Anderson. In Redding, the cards and maps are at the Graphic Emporium and the Redding Convention and Visitor Center. Cottonwood’s location is the Quilt in the Attic store. And in Happy Valley, try the Clear Creek Community Services District office, Happy Valley Nursery and The Buzz.
