APD officers led two raids Dec. 23 on Anderson-area residences suspected of methamphetamine activity. The search warrants were obtained thanks to an extended investigation led by APD officer Scott Bailey.

The first warrant was served on the 21000 block of Kimberly Road at 7:20 a.m. Officers arrested occupants Robert Powell, 43, and Desli Anderson, 27, for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance while armed, maintaining a residence where controlled substances are used and sold, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale.

Bail was set for $500,000 each.

Another residence was raided by officers the same day in the 3500 block of Timber Lane at 11:21 a.m. Arron Ellena, 33, was arrested after officers found methamphetamine, ammunition, scales, and packaging.

He was charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition and probation violation. Ellena was booked into Shasta County jail without bail.

The raids were conducted with the assistance of Shasta Interagency Narcotic Task Force (SINTF) and California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team.
