It was homecoming for Anderson on Friday, Feb. 8, but it was not a happy one for the boys’ basketball team. Lassen went back to Susanville with a 60-49 victory.
The Anderson Cubs put up a battle all evening but were unable to get ahead of the Grizzlies in the NAL game.
In the girl’s game, Molly Morton had 20 points followed by Megan Remley with 19, and Amrallina Rowland had 18.
The Lady Cubs beat the Grizzlies 68-49 and now have a 18-4 record. Yesterday, Anderson girls varsityhosted Yreka, who held a 13-5 record, in a NAL contest. Results were not available as of press time.
