Girls gear up for Friday game

Amrallina Rowland had 26 points and Molly Morton swished in 14 as the Anderson High School girls’ basketball team beat Corning 59-46 last Friday in a league game.

The Eagles made it five straight wins. Valerie Jordan had 18 points while Mikalyn Wintle had 12. Morgan McCarley added 11 in the run over CV.

Anderson hosts West Valley on Friday which will prove to be a nail-biter.
