Brian and Doreen Nickens of Redding celebrated the second anniversary of their business, The Guadalajara Store, by relocating it on July 1 to Shasta Outlets in Anderson.
They were to hold a grand re-opening celebration Monday, July 7, from 7-10 p.m. at the store’s new location at 1973 Highway 273.
Their store features rustic furniture, art and pottery imported directly from Mexico.
“This really is an Anderson success story,” said Brian Nickens of the move. “Our children live in Anderson, and they kept telling us what a wonderful place Anderson is to live and do business. We’re glad to be here.”
Inside the business, to the rear of the shop, is a full-scale café called Pancho’s Coffee House managed by the Nickens’ son, Austin.
Both businesses will keep identical hours, opening Monday through Saturday at 9 a.m. and closing at 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, the business will open at 11 a.m. and close at 6 p.m., Nickens said.
