Blonde biker beauties targeted by casting call in Anderson this weekend
Movie, "The Bet," to begin and end at the Sundial Bridge in Redding
Once the smoke clears over Redding this summer, filming will begin for "The Bet," a film casted and produced by CamStar International Casting and Productions, Mark Camaren, the company's CEO, said. A casting call for the film will be held this weekend at the Shasta Outlets, 1699 Highway 273, in a space between Payless Shoes and DEB's on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"I'm actively looking for blonde females to travel across the U.S. to film this movie," Camaren said, adding that the film would begin and end at the Sundial Bridge in Redding.
The movie isn't restricted to yellow-haired actresses, as Camaren said the movie requires a "tremendous amount of extras."
The family-oriented feature film would involve Harley-Davidson motorcyclists riding across the U.S. raising money and awareness for motorcycle safety. A twist in the plot calls for a multitude of blondes, both natural and contrived. Camaren said the movie would involve characters who would dye their hair blonde or wear blonde wigs.
The company previously casted the film "Phenomenon," starring John Travolta.
Cameren added that the prospective star of "The Bet" was not under contract yet, and therefore he would not divulge the name.
