All mandatory evacuation orders of Ono and the surrounding areas were lifted over the weekend, as containment of the Moon fire improved to 75 percent. The Moon fire has burned 28,823 acres in the Ono area, according to CAL FIRE information officer Linda Galvan.
Structure damage included one destroyed cabin, one damaged cabin, and four outbuildings.
As of Monday, the Shasta Lightning Complex fire was 55 percent contained after it burned 77,560 acres. The cost to fight the fires was $34.6 million.
