Chico State Professor to speak on sustainable agriculture

The Cottonwood Watershed Group will welcome Lee Altier, Professor of Plant and Soil Sciences at Chico State University, to speak on the “Introduction to Sustainable Agriculture for Small-Scale Producers,” at 6:15 p.m. at the Cottonwood Community Center, 3427 Gas Point Rd.

Altier studies Riparian Ecosystem Management Modeling (REMM), water quality control and vegetable cropping systems.
