Firefighters battle blaze north of fish hatchery

Firefighters attacked a vegetation fire Friday, June 6, near Ash Creek and Wildcat roads between Anderson and Shingletown.
The fire was reported as a one-acre blaze at around 4:30 p.m. Firefighters contained the flames by 5 p.m.
Five fire engines, two air tankers, one helicopter, one fire crew and one bulldozer were used to fight the flames, a Cal Fire spokesman said.
The cause of the fire is not known.
