The parents put up a good battle, but the 'in-shape' Lady Cubs quickly pulled ahead as their tiring parents got slower, and slower and s l o w e r - running down the court.
In the end the Lady Cubs allowed the parent team to come within two points of a tie.
But one thing was very noticeable - the Lady Cubs got their abilities from their parents - and the help from their coaches.
Awards were given out after the junior varsity parent-student game and then after the varsity parent-student game.
