The 2008 Golden Classic Gymnastics Competitions were held Mar. 15-16 in Sacramento. In the Level Seven and Older competitions, Athletics Unlimited (AU), 2250 Barney Ave., Anderson, came in fourth and sixth places over the other gyms in the North State.
The Technique Gymnastics held the competition. In the level AU had two youngsters come out in the top ten. Katie Lamb tied for fourth place and Makayla Scott had a sixth ranking.
AU’s Katie Lamb had a 9.175 vault, 9.400 bars, 7.800 beam, 9.200 floor with a total of 35.575. Makayla Scott had a 8.750 vault, 8.925 bars, 8.500 beam, 9.150 floor for a total of 35.325.
