The Anderson Lady Cubs came out strong with three runs against Shasta High School on Friday, but the Shasta team soon got themselves in gear and beat Anderson 7-3.
Anderson, in their own Cubs Classic at Big League Dreams last weekend did not fair to well.
Anderson’s Raylynn Ostrowski, in the bottom of the first, hit an inside-the-park home run.
The Cubs added to more runs on a walk, a base on balls, three passed balls and an error.
The Shasta Wolves came back in the second to take a 6-3 lead and then scored again in the fourth inning.
