On Thursday, May 15, 2007 at twelve noon, the Shasta County Peace Officers Memorial Coalition will be holding their annual ceremony on the steps of the Shasta County Courthouse. This event is in conjunction with National Peace Officers Memorial Week, which observes May 11th through May 17th in honor of all Peace Officers who gave their lives while in the line of duty.

Keynote speaker this year will be Assistant Chief Stephen Bell of the California Highway Patrol. The ceremony will last approximately one half hour and is open to the public.
