Mary Agnes Bloom

Mary Agnes Bloom, 76, of Anderson died April 2, 2009 Thursday at home. Arrangements handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson (365-5466).

Larry Gene Shipman

Larry Gene Shipman, 68, of Cottonwood died April 2, 2009 Thursday at home. Arrangements handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson (365-5466).

Agnes Bunch

Agnes Bunch, 97, of Anderson died Thursday April 2, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Glen of Anderson; son, Gary and wife Peggy of Chico and three grandsons, Barry, Jeffrey and Timothy. She also leaves five great grandchildren.

Agnes was born July 26, 1911, in Berryville, Arkansas to Bulo and Gertrude Layman. Sisters Gladys, Freda and Clell Preceded her in death. She leaves a niece, Billie Ann Kutzera and her family of Seattle, WA.

Agnes and Glen met in grade school as childhood sweethearts. After high school they were married in Port Townsend, WA in 1935.

Most of Agnes' life was spent as homemaker and housewife. She got her cosmotology license in the early 1960's where she worked in several shops.

Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel of Anderson are handling the funeral arrangements. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Altzhimers Association.
