Dear Editor,
Thank you to the individuals, businesses and associations that recently supported our local soldiers while they serve overseas on deployment.
The Knot, spearheaded by Linda Adams, made many personal Easter Cards for our soldiers.
NorCal Chapter No. 111 of the Women's Army Corps Veterans Association sent care packages.
With the help of many bakers in the Shingletown area as well as a class from Black Butte School that wrote to the soldiers, plus many necessary items from the women's veterans association, the care packages were full!
The next supporter was Bible Pathway Ministries International from Tennessee, a group that donated a booklet of 366 Daily Devotions Bible to each soldier.
Thank you everyone who had a part in supporting our soldiers. It is easier for the soldiers to do their mission when they know that we are supporting them back home.

Nice folks do nice things! I do believe she spells her name "Lynda" though....but who cares. Having relatives fighting for our freedom I appreciate ANY attempt to support them! Thanks to all who helped and hopefully I'll hear about the next 'to do' so I can lend a helping hand!
