West Valley's baseball team had a tough break against Central Valley last Tuesday.

The Eagles fell behind 0-5 early in the game, and couldn't pull together for a comeback, instead falling further behind as the game progressed.

The Falcons had 13 hits against the Eagles, who seemed deflated against the 17-1 team.

West Valley fell behind in their overall standings on Tuesday, with 8-9 season record.

West Valley is third in Northern Section league standings with a 3-3 record.

West Valley league leaders include senior Justin Naber, who is No. 1 with a .526 batting average and fourth in the league slugging percent with .763. Senior Alphonse Doiron is fourth in the league with a batting average with .440.

Doiron is also fourth in RBI's, with 18.

Naber is third in the leagues on-base percentage with .525. Teammate Justin Clark is right behind with a .525 percentage.

Pitcher Luke Alward is tied fourth in the league with 3 wins.
