Redding Rancheria's Indian Health Clinic recently achieved a three-year accreditation from the by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care that distinguishes the health clinic as providing a safe work environment and the highest quality of care to patients.
Status as an accredited organization means the clinic has met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care set by the association, explained Ron Sisson, Senior Director for Health Services.
The clinic's entire staff has been working on the accreditation process diligently and everyone is excited to have been accredited for three years on their first application request, he said.
"Most clinics do not get accredited for three years the first time they apply. This is quite an honor for our clinic to receive a three year award," said Sisson
"We believe our patients deserve the best care, and we strive to provide that for our patients," stated Dr. Davis, the clinic's medical director.
