Local wine, honey, tamales, strawberries and other produce will be on sale when Cottonwood Farmers' Market and Artisan Fair opens Friday, April 24, courtesy of Cottonwood Creek Watershed Group.
The event is scheduled for every Friday from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at ETC Mercantile, 3308 Main St., in Cottonwood.
Straight-from-the-farm produce, including some certified organic offerings, will be offered for sale alongside crafters' wares, organizers said.
Opening day of the market hosts a variety of activities: Sierra Pacific will give away free tree seedlings, music will be performed by Pine Dogs and Still Married, the Moose Lodge Clowns will create balloon art for children and a food court serving hamburgers will be open to the public.
