While fresh off a scheduled trip to the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in San Francisco on Tuesday, Anderson Teen Center continues to provide activities for area youth. Led by the center's youth action committee, Anderson Teens Taking Action (ATTA), the center will hold a picnic at KC Grove in the Anderson River Park on Thursday, April 16, 2-6 p.m., according to Senior Project Manager at Anderson Partnership for Healthy Children Melissa Peterson.

On Friday, April 17, the center plans an overnight lock-in from 8 p.m.-8 a.m. with a cosplay theme, meaning everyone would dress up as their favorite fictional character. This event would be limited to youth already involved with the center.

ATTA are also planning to volunteer at the Family Fun Fest on April 25 at the Anderson River Park and participate in the Take Back the Night event in Redding on April 29.
