Fire destroys home, several vehicles south of Anderson

A fire early Thursday morning left a house heavily damaged, destroyed two out-buildings and 4 to 5 vehicles, according to J.T. Zulliger of Cal Fire. The fire was reported at 2:58 a.m. April 16 at 20853 Corner Way, off Deschutes Road south of Anderson.

The house would have to be demolished, according to Zulliger.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Units responding to the fire included Cal Fire, Shasta County Fire, Anderson, Cottonwood, Millville Fire Protection Districts, and Redding Fire Department.
