Two juveniles were taken to Mercy Medical Center after an ATV accident in Happy Valley at about 3 p.m. Monday. One drove a four-wheel ATV, and a second juvenile drove a two-wheel dirt bike.

“One broke his leg; other than that they look okay,” said a parent of one of the juveniles on scene.

Both juveniles said they wore helmets, according to Happy Valley Fire Protection District Chief Joe Vasquez, adding “the kids are very lucky.”
