MOLLY MONTGOMERY
The Exchange Club of Anderson presented a $500 check to Anderson New Technology High School student Molly Montgomery on April 28.
Montgomery is the club's 2009 ACE Award winner.
ACE stands for Accepting the Challenge of Excellence and recognizes high school students who have made a dramatic change in their attitude and performance during high school.
These positive changes are supposed to have enabled the student to overcome adversities and prepare for graduation.
Local Exchange Clubs may also submit their top ACE Award winners to their district's competition.
Winners at the district level then have an opportunity to compete for the National ACE award.
