The AARP Driver Safety Course will once again be presented May 4-5 at Blood Source in Redding through videotape and group discussion.
The two-day class covers age related physical changes in perception and reaction time, new rules of the road and tips on local driving conditions.
A one-day refresher course for those who have already completed the two-day class will be offered May 16 at the Redding branch of the Shasta Public Library.
Participants who complete the course may be eligible for an automobile insurance discount.
The cost is $14, however, AARP members receive a $2.00 discount.
