West Valley High School principal Karl Stemmler announced that after conducting interviews, Daina Cowan has been chosen to fill the position of varsity girls basketball coach. Cowan will replace Gary Memeo, who recently resigned.
Cowan has assisted with the girl's basketball program for the past 14 years.
Mr. Stemmler is confident that she will lead the varsity girls basketball program with integrity and skill.
"It will be a pleasure to have her as a member of the West Valley High School coaching staff," principal Stemmler stated.
