It's time to put on Cowboy duds and get tickets for the Anderson Union High School Performing Art's annual "Old West" show and dinner.

This year's show is titled, "The Secret of Cornbread Flats or How Many Beans Does It Take to End Up in Smithereens?"

The audience enjoys a show while feasting on a full-course tri-tip dinner. The show aims to provide lots of laughter, audience participation, music and excellent service. All proceeds will benefit the school's music and performing arts programs.

The performance is a melodrama written by Sue Rae in cooperation with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc.

Performances start Wednesday, May 6, and run through Saturday, May 9. The "Old West" show and dinner is held at the Crosscurrents Youth Center, 2991 E. Center Street in Anderson.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $18 and available at the AUHS performing arts center Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. or in Redding at Graphic Emporium and Bernie's Guitar. Tickets at the door are $25. Ticket order forms can also be downloaded at www.andersoncubs.com.

For information, call 365-2741 ext. 1671. Messages will be returned. There will be no returns or exchanges.
