Anderson New Technology High School will host its fourth annual "Evening of the Arts" at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 2.
Before the program begins, there will be a tri-tip sandwich fundraiser in the school's parking lot with members of the Anderson Rotary Club staffing the barbecue.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the purchase and placement of an electronic sign board to be located in front of the school, principal Pat Allison said.
"Evening of the Arts" celebrates the varied artistic endeavors of the school's students.
For this special event, the school hallways are transformed into gallery showcases displaying examples of student photography, digital media, fine art and graphic design classes.
Several of these pieces have previously received recognition, awards and honorable mentions in various art shows throughout the county, Allison explained.
Additionally, drama and music students will share their talents as well, she added.
It is a wonderful opportunity for families and community members to celebrate the collective talents of many ANTHS students, Allison said.
