After the first week of practice, Anderson Union High School Head Varsity Football Coach Lance Gosch is pleased with the group of players he has and the effort they are putting forth.

"They are a very close group and they encourage each other," Gosch said.

According to Gosch, there is a good mix of player's skill levels and they are improving and making progress.

"After our scrimmage with Enterprise, we should know more about how they play together as a team and what we need to improve upon," the coach commented.

Gosch says he's going to take things one week at a time and focus on the little problems that can be improved upon as they prepare for their first league game against Las Plumas.
