John Franklin Stevens, Sr.
John Franklin Stevens, Sr., of Cottonwood, was born February 21, 1938 in Grants Pass, Ore. to Joe and Helen Stevens. He passed away on July 31, 2009 at age 71.
John attended Anderson High School and Shasta College. He was a Real Estate Broker most of his career. He was the previous owner of Anderson Realty. John also served on numerous boards and held a term in 1984-85 as Mayor of Anderson. John enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He will be missed by many.
There will be a private graveside service on Thursday, August 20, 2009 10 a.m. at the Anderson Cemetery.
Barney Branch
Barney Branch, 86, of Anderson died Sunday at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Arrangements are pending at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding (243-1525).
