A vegetation fire at 5 to 6 acres and a moderate rate of spread was reported by CalFire at Lloyd Lane off Happy Valley Road on Wednesday at 4:23 p.m. Structures were initially threatened, but CalFire spokesman Mark Mack said the threat to structures was diminished by 5:05 p.m.
CHP closed Happy Valley Road to westbound traffic at about 4:30 p.m.
