WRECKED: No serious injuries were reported following a collision including multiple vehicles on I-5 on Dec. 1.

A 17-year-old male from Redding in a white pickup truck overturned following multiple vehicle collisions on Interstate 5 north of North Street in Anderson at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, say CHP.

While driving southbound on Interstate 5, his white pick-up struck two vehicles, a silver pickup and a silver Camaro, before rear-ending a red SUV, locking bumpers with it and swerving off the road, according to a CHP officer on scene. The man driving the silver pick-up truck suffered a minor neck injury, according to rescue personnel.

While seemingly uninjured, the minor was transported to Mercy Medical Center to await a parent or guardian.

Further details are pending a complete report from CHP.
