Anderson 42, U-Prep 33
Anderson made a show of their power on the court as they easily controlled their game against U-Prep for the win, 42-33.
The Panthers fell behind to the Cubs early on and Anderson never let it go during the first night of their 51st annual tournament.
Anderson will play against Lassen tonight at 8:00 p.m. for a spot in the championship game.
West Valley 54, Etna 38
West Valley also had a good night playing against Etna in their opening game Anderson tournament.
Early on the Eagles started hitting their thee pointers and managed to keep Etna at bay with a two-point lead going into half time. Once the second half began, West Valley started putting distance between them and Etna.
At the end of the night, the Eagles won the game 54-38.
West Valley, looking for a spot in the championship game, will play Alhambra tonight at 6:30 p.m.
