After winning their first game 42-33 against U-Prep, tournament host Anderson would go on to place fourth in their tournament.

Anderson met up with U-Prep in their opening game on Thursday at the 51st annual Anderson Invitational basketball tournament. The Cubs won against the Panthers, to set up a Friday night game against Lassen.

The Grizzles led the match early on, easily putting distance between themselves and the Cubs. Anderson trailed going into the fourth period, but started making their come back in the final few minutes of the game. It was not enough time for the Cubs to win, and Lassen took the game 59-44.

The Cubs played Alhambra of Martinez Saturday afternoon in the third place game. Both teams were fierce competitors, but the Bulldogs were able to keep Anderson at bay and take the third place game 66-56.
