The West Valley Eagles boys and girls soccer teams played their scrimmage match against Oroville in the rain, but that didn't seem to bother the Eagles.

The Eagle boys played a close match against the competitive Tigers. West Valley battled all the way to the end, through the drizzling rain, but was unable to pull ahead of Oroville. They lost 2-1 against the Tigers.

The Lady Eagles had more success against the Lady Tigers. Even though there was a steady drizzle during the match, the West Valley girls didn't let that stop their progress.

The girls took control of their match early on and easily overpowered the Tigers. The Lady Eagles would shut out their opponent 5-0 to take the victory.
