Redding police seek help in ID of male suspect using stolen credit cards in Anderson

A surveillance camera inside the Anderson Mini-Mart captured this image of the alleged suspect using a credit card that had earlier that day been reported stolen from a vehicle parked near the 100 block of Justin Way in Redding.

The Redding Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect using stolen credit cards at an Anderson Mini-Mart on Dec. 10.

Redding Police officers investigated a vehicle burglary that occurred during the night of Dec. 9 in the 100 block of Justin Way, Redding. The theft was reported on the morning of December 10th, 2009.

A male suspect is seen on video a few hours later using the victim’s credit card(s).

A photograph circulated by police Sgt. Bruce Bonner shows the suspect is a white male adult with some type of tattooed lettering across the back of his neck, a smaller tattoo of some type symbol or emblem on the right side of his neck just below the jaw line and possibly a small tattoo in the web of his right thumb.

The same stolen credit card(s) were also used in Anderson at a McDonalds restaurant, and the Wal-Mart Super Center and in Redding at several businesses including Tower Mart and Wayne’s Chevron.
